Whitetail & Ales: A Trip to Whitetail Resort & Vanish Brewing

SKIING & SNOWBOARDING PAIRED WITH A VISIT TO A HOP FARM & BREWERY

Enjoy a half day of skiing or snowboarding at Whitetail Resort, followed by a visit to Vanish Brewery, where you can swap stories of shredding the gnar while enjoying their famous “Mega Flight”.

Whitetail Resort offers some of the best skiing in the area and lucky for us, it’s less than two hours from DC. Whitetail has 23 runs, 8 lifts, a terrain park, snow-making capabilities, and snow tubing. There are a variety of runs for every skill level. If you’re new to the sport or would like a quick refresher course, Whitetail’s “programs for new skiers and snowboarders were recognized as the best in the country by the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) during the 2010-2011 winter season.” (click here to read more about their lessons).

After the hike, we'll head to Vanish Farmwoods Brewery, located on the 53-acre Black Hops Farm. Vanish has a huge tasting room, plenty of outdoor space with lawn games and fire pits, great food, and their famous 6, 12, or 24 beer flights!

To learn more about Whitetail Resort and Vanish Farmwoods Brewery, click here: https://skiwhitetail.com/  https://vanishbeer.com/

We understand that skiing and snowboarding are expensive sports. This is why we wanted to offer time on the mountain, with the added bonus of a brewery visit, for less than our competitors charge for a ski trip only.

There are three different pricing options for this full-day trip:

Option 1: $85.00-Transportation & brewery only. Recommended for people with a season pass and their own gear.

Option 2: $150.00- Transportation, lift ticket, & brewery. Recommended for people with their own gear.

Option 3: $205.00- Transportation, lift ticket, rentals, 1 hr lesson, & brewery. This package also includes an optional group lesson with Whitetail instructors for first-timers to advanced riders who want to sharpen their skills.

Snacks, hot drinks, hand and toe warmers, and a round at the brewery will be provided.

We will be picking up and dropping off from Metro Center station.

*Please note: return times back to the city can vary from the listed times depending on the crowds at the resort and the terrible traffic in our area.
